I know that in the US, usually when a child turns 18 he is considered an adult, for many purposes. For immigration, what age is considered a child? Is it up to 18, or 21, or what age?

The USCIS site says that a child is unmarried and under 21. It does also refer to "sons" and "daughters" who are married and/or over 21. So, for immigration purposes, a "child" is under 21 AND unmarried.

Yes, "child" refers to an unmarried person under age 21. Once a person reaches age 21 or marries, they are no longer considered a child, for government purposes.

Thank you. So even after a child turns 18 and can do things legally, still he can be brought in to the USA as a child. That is good, because it is easier to bring in a child.
