im under the impression that the uscis website is the official office for petitioning a k1 visa and its fee is 340. and the immigrationdirect site is a service with a fee of 300 correct? so if i use the immigrationdirect service will i pay both fees?
next, on the uscis site it says i have to send the petition application to the usa? am i correct? im looking for the simplest service. and either site isnt actually clear cut on the steps. maybe its just initial process shock. but theres alot to sort out.
im looking to file the k1 fiancee visa, and i would appreciate any direction and tips that would help me to simplify the process. im in cebu, and i suspect i have to go to manila for the interview. at this point im in the beginning, and its my first day to investigate the process. i was hoping to read something simple as step 1, send this document here. step 2, send this payment here in form or this. step 3, wait for this reply. step 4, make arrangements to travel to this office and do this. step 5, have this ready, and get this physical/document. step 5, wait to recieve your visa. could there be such a simplified schedule? would be nice if i could see such a helpful breakdown.
im grateful for any reply at all.

thank you very much for the reply. but im still unclear about one thing. to process through the uscis site fee is base at 340 as i suppose is the government filing fee?. immigration direct has a fee of 300, if i use the immigrationdirect service will i pay the immigrationdirect fee AS WELL AS the uscis fee??
in other words, will i be paying more if i use the immigrationdirect service. i dont mind if it makes the service easier and more simplified for me lessening the hardships and confusions. it would be nice if someone could sticky a thread that simplifies the steps in a process thats more clear. i looked but didnt find such a thing. i would be happy to do this after i completed the process.
its helpful to see an order of what will be needed before it making half way through the steps to find out i need to take another week to acquire more NSO and NBI docs, pictures, proof of meeting in certain forms and such. as i expect the point of this forum is to more clearly inform and simplify the process in terms of whats to be expected in what stages and steps.
